Ask in everyday language
Turn the experience below into a short speaking script for a video. Explain it to a client who is new to the topic. Sound conversational, not like an advertisement. Start directly, give the practical points and finish naturally. Use only my information. Do not invent examples, prices or results. Here is what I normally explain: Before renovation begins, put valuables away. Photograph furniture you want to keep. Agree with the contractor what stays and what will be moved.
Read it aloud. Make it sound like you.
If a sentence sounds like an advertisement, point to it and ask for a simpler version.
For example: ‘Start directly with what to do before renovation. Make the sentences shorter and keep my three points.’

1. Account and environment

Create a dedicated practice folder with fictional or de-identified material. Select that folder, not your whole computer or confidential client directories.
3. Verify a real file
Use the prompt below. Find and open the resulting file. A message saying 'done' is not evidence that the output is correct.
First confirm, read-only, the path of my selected practice folder. Create hello-ai.txt inside that folder with the text 'This is my AI practice workspace'. If the file exists, keep it and use a new name. Give me a clickable path and explain what you actually did. Do not install software, use the network, delete files or read other folders.
4. Check the location when stuck
Ask Codex to list only the current working folder and the full path to the output. Review permissions before approving them; do not grant broad access by default.
