In industry surveys, cash flow sits year after year at the top of small-business worries (one Q4 2025 survey's figures: 29% named it their number-one concern). Yet the way most owners manage money is — open the banking app, glance at the balance. It's what the balance can't show you that hurts : Wednesday's wages, rent due at month's end, and three invoices nobody has chased.
